Seminars

 Seminars

The following in-house seminars are offered in English and can be adapted to individual needs, settings and conditions:

  • Acting techniques for managers

Are you able to deal quickly and flexibly with unexpected situations? Would you like to be able to perform effectively and convincingly in every situation?

This intensive drama training course offers you the chance to learn the basic acting-tools in a small group environment and to practise your specific needs.

You develop an awareness of the ways in which you express yourself, so that you can handle your voice and body in a more flexible and impressive manner and conduct yourself confidently, even in unfamiliar situations.

As a participant on this course, you…

    • …learn to become more sensitive to non-verbal aspects of communication and acquire new, previously untapped means of expression.

    • …recognise the signals that you are giving out and how the personal impression you make has evolved. You also learn to control your impact on others more purposefully for maximum gain.

    • …learn on a more detailed level how to read the body language of someone with whom you are speaking and how to react flexibly.

    • …discover how best to deal with your own and others’ emotions and how to cope more confidently and decisively in difficult situations.

    • …use the opportunity to role-play challenging situations, such as lectures, presentations and discussions. With the help of qualified (video) feedback, you learn how to optimise your presence.

You acquire a level of confidence that will allow you to deal successfully and calmly with unexpected and pressurised situations, as well as prolonged, difficult negotiations.

  • Personal Impact

The ability to perform confidently and convincingly, whilst radiating friendliness and openness, is an important key to professional success. The non-verbal signals that we emit count for around 90% of the impression that we make on others.

This physical level of communication remains to a large extent unconscious: many people give out subliminal signals that the recipients sense and interpret on an equally subliminal level. Often it is these signals that determine whether a discussion or presentation is successful or not.

In this seminar or individual session, you are given support for the following situations:

    Presentations

    Performance, rhetoric, designing presentation materials

    Lectures

Preparation/target group, construction and structure, rhetoric, performance and personal impact

    Negotiations / difficult conversations

Preparation/negotiation partner, reasoning techniques, techniques for negotiation, performance and charisma

    Interviews

Dealing with the media and journalists, statements, dealing with rhetorical tricks, performance and charisma

    Methods:

Systemic coaching, video feedback, interactive role plays, mental techniques, vocal and speech training, body language sensitisation, drama coaching.

  • New Leadership

There is currently a clear trend towards the dismantling of hierarchies within companies and consequently executives face an ever more complex spectrum of responsibility.

As a participant on this course, you….

    • …acquire the necessary skills to motivate your employees long-term and mentor them as a coach.
    • …gain valuable insights into the systemic principles that operate on a deeper level and strongly influence the productivity and motivation of your employees.
    • …recognise the impact of your personal management style and are able to adapt flexibly to a particular situation.
    • …practise treating a diverse range of employees as individuals when in discussion, agreeing tangible goals with them and overseeing their implementation.
    • …learn to recognise conflicts in good time and carefully implement proceedings to resolve the issues.

You are enabled to foster a good work atmosphere characterised by competence, trust and open communication. In this way you enhance the performance and motivation of your employees.

  • Self-Leadership

Those who lead others should also be able to lead themselves in order to better meet the demands and pressures of everyday leadership.

You will learn what possibilities there are to find out about yourself and to handle your own unwanted behaviour.

The focus will be the work with inner parts.

Here you will get to know your sometimes conflicting, often also emotional thoughts and impulses more deeply in order to make them more clearly identifiable, more beneficial and above all controllable.

On the basis of many practical examples you'll learn what exactly the concept of the inner parts consists of, how to work with your own personality traits and what you can achieve with the help of this model. You'll  have the opportunity to try this out using your own examples and experiences.

You will also be taught stress management techniques that will give you greater serenity in a matter of seconds.
