Methods

 Methods

In my coachings and trainings I use a wide range of consulting methods. Two of them, which many of my clients greatly benefit from, are described here: CONSTELLATION and ACTING.

Acting

to opimise
  • your impact on others
  • your presentations
  • your lectures
  • your conversations and discussions
With acting, the activity is wholly down to you. I am responsible for maintaining the necessary momentum and overseeing the correct preparatory steps. “Acting” means deploying drama and performance tools which enable you to perceive and manage the unique impression you make on others in a completely different way.

You learn how to consciously enhance and practise your own authenticity. You learn how, in discussions, lecture situations, presentations and media appearances, you can
  • manage the impression you make on others in a specifically targeted way while keeping your authenticity.
  • use your voice professionally and effectively,
  • significantly improve your charisma, quick-wittedness and persuasive powers,
  • and therefore make your arguments more convincing.
Acting can also be used very effectively for team-building, in which case the method is extended by using improvisation and collaboration techniques.
Constellations

  • for processes of decision-making and change
  • in staff management
  • in the relationship with customers
  • in management tasks
  • in the team
  • in project management
  • in mergers and collaborations
  • in the personal, individual sphere
The effective method of systemic constellation gives you support during processes of decision-making and change. “Systemic” means that your concerns are always considered along with influencing factors that operate from within and without. Systemic constellation helps you to
  • access hidden information
  • develop a particular kind of foresight
  • and therefore to clearly recognise the consequences of your decision or change of behaviour.
Other Coaching and Consulting Methods

Solution focused brief consulting
This method relies on the solution- and resource-orientated, tangible questions via which you, as the person being coached, can develop new perspectives and approaches. It is based on the assumption that every person is his or her own expert at finding the best solution for their problem.

Role play
You reconstruct work situations and adopt various roles and perspectives in order to analyse, modify and practise your and other’s way of behaving. You can try out different ways of acting and reacting in a safe environment.

Mental techniques
You are given techniques for self-coaching and restoring yourself to a good state. You acquire tools for enhancing your powers of concentration, perception and performance. You gain insight into your thought structures and how you can consciously change them.

Systemic coaching
This involves analysing the influential factors affecting a situation. In doing so, you investigate how you can exert influence from your perspective in order to change the structures of conditionality. If required, you can use the systemic constellation to test which kinds of intervention have which effects on the system and the situation.

Working with internal personality traits (Inner Parts, IFS by Richard Schwartz)
You get to know your internal, often contradictory, emotional tendencies and how to control them. You discover how, in certain situations, you unconsciously create your own blockages and how you can avoid or dispel these. You experience the benefits of connecting with your own conscious or unconscious traits.
