Other Coaching and Consulting Methods
Solution focused brief consulting
This method relies on the solution- and resource-orientated, tangible questions via which you, as the person being coached, can develop new perspectives and approaches. It is based on the assumption that every person is his or her own expert at finding the best solution for their problem.
Role play
You reconstruct work situations and adopt various roles and perspectives in order to analyse, modify and practise your and other’s way of behaving. You can try out different ways of acting and reacting in a safe environment.
Mental techniques
You are given techniques for self-coaching and restoring yourself to a good state. You acquire tools for enhancing your powers of concentration, perception and performance. You gain insight into your thought structures and how you can consciously change them.
Systemic coaching
This involves analysing the influential factors affecting a situation. In doing so, you investigate how you can exert influence from your perspective in order to change the structures of conditionality. If required, you can use the systemic constellation to test which kinds of intervention have which effects on the system and the situation.
Working with internal personality traits (Inner Parts, IFS by Richard Schwartz)
You get to know your internal, often contradictory, emotional tendencies and how to control them. You discover how, in certain situations, you unconsciously create your own blockages and how you can avoid or dispel these. You experience the benefits of connecting with your own conscious or unconscious traits.
